Guide Ragnarok on Linux and MacOSX

    Game Client and Installer works without any problems on Linux and MacOS X.

    Linux version tested on Manjaro Linux, Wine version is 3.2
    With new and some versions of Wine, you may have problems with launching the game client.
    Use downgrade wine to another version.

    For Russian users: please start with prefix LANG=ru_RU.UTF-8

    Example:
    LANG=ru_RU.UTF-8 wine /home/.wine/drive_c/games/RagnarokIsland/Island.exe

    Also on MacOS X you can use WineSkin or WineBottler.
    If you have Gepard Shield Loading stuck on top, please create a empty file with the filename "no_splash" without any extension to fix this issue.

    Where exactly should I create "no_splash" to fix Gepard Shield Loading stuck?
    I've created it in every folder of wine bottle with client, but it doesn't work - stuck is still here

    also try to run Updater.exe from the game folder.
    Do not use .app in WineBottler

    For the love of the game, and the new born server. I myself figured it out. I will be posting a step-by-step guide for all other MacOS users out there. Please refer below.

    Requirements:
    - A copy of the whole Ragnarok Island Game Folder from a Windows Machine
    - A copy of an empty no_splash.txt file from a Windows Machine. (Used only if Gepard screen gets stuck.)
    - Flash Drive to store the Ragnarok Island Game Folder and empty no_splash.txt file.

    1.) Download and Install WineBottler 1.8.6 Stable
    - http://winebottler.kronenberg.org

    2.) Open WineBottler Combo in your desktop.
    -Drag Wine into the Application. Then Open Wine from Applications. (Note after the picture.)

    -You will know that wine is already opened an icon of it is present. (See upper right corner of the screen beside Wifi Icon)

    3.) Transfer Ragnarok Island Game Folder and no_splash.txt file from Flash Drive to Desktop.

    4.) Right click no_splash.txt file, then choose get info, locate >Name & Extension; then remove ".txt" font. Then transfer no_splash file from the Desktop to the Game Folder.

    - So it should only be "no_splash" left.

    - It will become .exe file

    5.) Locate Setup.exe and click, choose Run directly in; then choose your preferred screen settings.

    6.) Locate Island.exe and click, choose Run directly in;

    -then after, click Start! ENJOY!!!!
